Recovery Technician
Summary:

Recovery Technicians provide client support and monitors client adherence to program rules and guidelines.
Further, the Recovery Technician performs drug test sample collection, provides transportation in company vehicle, provides client accompaniment on offsite activities, participates in client activities and/or routines that assist in the development of healthy lifestyle habits and medication monitoring. Report to Director of Operations for all staffing and scheduling needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- 1-2 years’ experience in behavioral health or similar care taking field;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and data management tools and programs;
- A strong desire to work with women in recovery;
- Certificates and Licenses: Current CPR and First Aid certificate; Current tuberculosis test; valid driver's license;
- Preferred QMAP certified;
- Knowledge, skills; and other abilities: Professionalism; Oral and written communication skills; and
- Ability to pass Safe Driver Test.
Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Supervise Momenta clients in daily living activities and responsibilities;
- Maintain regular contact with Director of Operations, the Clinical Director, and the Administrative Specialist;
- Participate in regular staff meetings as required by Director of Operations;
- Assist the Director of Admissions and Marketing with the intake for arriving clients including drug screening and searching of belongings;
- Coordinate exit surveys and discharge process for clinical team;
- Provide transportation and supervision on activities;
- Provide fair, consistent, and ethical boundaries with clients;
- Show up with compassion and an empathic approach to all client interactions;
- Monitor daily phone calls to client approved contact list;
- Coordinate with Clinicians and Clinical Director to provide support for relevant therapy assignments;
- Work closely with Medical Manager to ensure that clients health care needs are accommodated including medication refills and needed appointments;
- Attend morning huddle and required staff meetings and trainings;
- Ensure the clients’ safety at all times when at Momenta, during coordinated outside activities, or while being transported;
- Ability to hold clients and other team members accountable for the of code of conduct, cleanliness requirements, program rules, and other guidelines;
- Administer and record daily random Drug Testing according to Momenta Policies and Procedures and in compliance with laboratory testing requirements;
- Dispense prescription medications in an accurate and timely fashion and complete observation of medication records;
- Provide regular and excellent housekeeping on the Momenta property, and its vehicles, for a physically safe and healthy environment;
- Ensure that Momenta Recovery and its facilities are ready at all times for tours, meetings, events, etc.;
- Report any vehicle maintenance requirements or concerns to Director of Operations;
- Willing and able to facilitate house meetings, attend recreational, or experiential activities with clients;
- Draft a shift report regarding interactions pertinent to client therapeutic process and community activities in Momenta’s Electronic Health Record software;
- Identify and report supply and services need and/or safety material/data resources with Director of Operations during weekly staff meetings;
- Be a good example and exemplary role model.
