What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Intern position at Momentive?
The tasks of the interns will vary depending on where in finance their rotation is. We will have 2 rotations in the finance organization in the areas of:
Controllership
Business/Corporate Finance
The following are required for the role
Minimum RequirementsPursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Have completed at least 2 years of accounting and/or finance-focused coursework.
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for the duration of their internship.
The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for Summer and December/January breaks, and 15-19 hours during semesters.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear, use hands to type, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, view a computer terminal, and do extensive reading. May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and move a light to medium weight. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and learn technical information. Light lifting is required.

Students enrolled in a Graduate degree level program are eligible to receive a higher rate than the range listed below. Master's rate: $27/hr
