Overview
We are looking for a smart, hardworking fulfillment manager to join our team. This role will report to our CTO & CEO. The position will manage Air Co’s inventory, supply chain and logistics where necessary in distributing Air Co’s vodka product. The role will be located in Brooklyn, NY. Ideal candidates will have experience with packaging equipment, managing inventory, inbound & outbound deliveries and third party contractors.
Requirements
● Manage our end to end vodka supply chain. This entails
- Operate liquid filling machinery to fill bottles with vodka
- Operate label applicator machinery to apply labels to bottles
- Package, palletize and prepare final product for distribution
● Manage inventory and storage of dry & wet goods as they arrive at the distillery
● Responsible for maintenance tasks, upkeep, housekeeping and sanitation of distilleries. This may involve coordinating with third party contractors where necessary to enable distillery sites i.e. Fire Department bodies, DEP, DOB, special inspectors or individual contractors for ad hoc requirements.
Additional Requirements May Include:
● Ability to troubleshoot general and mechanical problems on site with the ability to then rectify
● Identify production & fulfillment problems and implement preventive and corrective actions such as cost reduction, increasing productivity, etc.
● Conduct product/process commissioning and provide manufacturing support for existing processes.
Preferred Skills:
● Ability to work proactively and independently with an eagerness to learn
● Team player
● Ability to operate a forklift
● Bachelors degree from a major university
● Experience in operating packaging equipment
