WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Momentum Worldwide is looking for an incredible Director to join our Business Leadership team for a financial services client. This individual will lead experiential programs for our clients Premium Brands. Our projects center on creating opportunities for Premium consumers to engage with their passions across a variety of lifestyle categories. We are seeking someone with luxury brand experience who is passionate about the premium space, retail, art, dining, entertainment and culture.
Must Haves:
- A strategic thinker who has the gravitas and maturity to communicate and navigate complex client environments
- The ability of a master tactician – both strategic and tactical skills are necessary for success in the role
- Experience utilizing partnerships – anything from brands to artists to chefs. You have the experience of negotiating with talent/partners and their teams
- Has their finger on the pulse of culture. Understand current and emerging luxury trends and ability to apply these to client challenges & project briefs
- Has the drive to create and grow opportunities beyond the immediate client need. Has the vision to see these opportunities and lead our clients to different destinations by being a value-add partner
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Develop rapport with clients and other agency partners by providing day-to-day client contact, managing the relationships, expectations, and troubleshoot conflicts with senior clients and team members as they arise
- Guiding the team to identifying opportunities, strategic thinking and subsequent development of integrated marketing programs across brand portfolios
- On-strategy project planning and execution according to Agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
- Successfully participating in the managing of project financials in accordance with agency policy and procedure
- Building, managing and reconciling budgets
- Attaining annual revenue and contribution margin targets
- Develop staffing plans that support the business
- Deliver compelling client and new business presentations
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Momentum’s core disciplines and be proactive in growing client business across the agency
- Manage and mentor direct report(s); fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership, strategic thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication, on-going performance feedback, and professional development

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8 years related experience in marketing
- 3 years agency experience preferred
- Previous experience guiding integrated multi-disciplinary teams to meet client goals
- Experience managing/training/mentoring more junior team members
- Experience building and managing budgets
- Exceptional client management skills
- Regularly delivers quality work (creatively and strategically solid) within budget parameters
- Proven leadership of clients and partners
- Highly organized as well as ability to be highly flexible in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Proactive self-starter, able to identify projects and tasks, and see them through execution
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful
- Polished, professional demeanor, team player
