What are the responsibilities and job description for the Working Electrical Foreman position at Monad?
Salary: $43-$50/hr with $12/hr per diem
- Current Journeyman's license in Wyoming or Colorado or be willing to reciprocate.
- Ability to develop a bill of materials and manage material stock.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Adept in maintaining thorough and accurate records through the utilization of an app-based system, a fundamental requirement for the position.
- Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications, industry standards, and local/ national codes.
- Abide by NEC codes and regulations.
- Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit and cable.
- Connects wiring to industrial devices and power equipment.
- Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
- Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
- Ability to manage small crews of apprentices.
- OSHA 10 hours or greater - required.
- MSHA - encouraged.
- PEC Safeland - required.
- Forklift and aerial lift equipment certifications - required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening along with random testing administered quarterly.
