General Summary:
This position will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, procedures and analyses to provide
data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Job Duties:
● Examine and analyze body fluids, tissues and cells
● Evaluate test results for accuracy and help interpret them for physician
● Perform and document equipment maintenance
● Assists the laboratory’s clients in ensuring that appropriate tests are ordered
● Ensures that test result reports include pertinent information required for patient interpretation.
● Ensures that consultation is available and communicated to the laboratory’s clients

● Ability to apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues
● Ability to adapt and learn new techniques and procedures as needed

Minimum Qualifications
● High School diploma or equivalent
● A Valid CLS license
● Ability to work in physically demanding environment
● Strong communication skills: verbal and written
● Proficient in Microsoft and Google

Preferred Qualifications
● Minimum requirements Bachelor's Degree in Science
● 2 years experience as a CLS (Generalist preferred)

Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. Must be able to lift 25-50lbs. Must be able to
navigate with a variety of clients and customers. May be required to ascend/descend stairs.
May be exposed to hazardous materials including body fluids, communicable diseases, and chemicals
