About the role:
Global Supply Managers work with Engineering teams to make sure Monarch has the supplies and equipment to put into production the innovative products coming from our Engineering teams. As a Global Supply Manager, you use your industry knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to optimize our total cost of ownership for our vehicles and related products.
As a Global Supply Manager, you will interface with internal Engineering and Product teams as well as our external suppliers to develop and deliver products and services. As the main contact for agreement discussions and supplier management, you will build consensus with both internal and external stakeholders, including Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Industrial Design, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams. You will also lead and support the development implementation, and management of global strategies to provide optimal pricing, flexibility, quality, and supply assurance.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute battery commodity strategies for Monarch’s Products and Services
- Identify and implement new opportunities for cost savings, including optimizing the supply base
- Develop an understanding of cost-competing technologies, processes, and products to guide
- Create and/or optimize cost models for evaluating modules, components, and new processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and risks related to
- Develop global sourcing strategies with defined plans for cost savings, risk assessment and
- Address all areas of global sourcing and supply chain management, including commodity,
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of work experience, including 3 years of experience in commodity management, (e.g.,
- Experience managing projects and strategic initiatives.
- Experience negotiating contracts and understand terms and conditions.
- Understanding of battery raw materials, manufacturing processes, market indices and negotiation.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
