Purpose of the role:
The Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting is responsible for understanding, preparing, processing, and analyzing data to make the data valuable and useful for operational and/or decision-making purposes. The Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting may need to partner with other Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and Data Governance positions to create highly useful information.
Uses knowledge of business objectives, strategies, and needs to identify opportunities where data can be leveraged to achieve the desired business benefits.
Understands current data context, processes and availability, and how current data processes and existing data can be leveraged to achieve the desired benefits.
Prepares and analyzes data. This can include locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating, or modeling.
Coordinates our outsourced D&A/R team to maximize the value that it delivers to the Mondelez
Applies query, data exploration and transformation, basic statistical methods and visualization techniques to create business insights or improve data quality.
Performs validation and testing to confirm the accuracy of the information created.
Interprets results of analyses, identifies trends and issues, and develops recommendations to support business objectives.
Communicates complex information so that it is easy to understand and influences other to act based on the useful information provided.
Implements and maintains data accuracy in vendor and material master data management.
Responsibilities
Actively enable and empower analytics and operations professionals across the Global Procurement organization through leadership ability, sharing of best practices, training programs, and in-person development/support.
Take responsibility for building and maintaining a portfolio of analytics applications for Global Procurement team, in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Becomes the owner of the Procurement dashboard portfolio where she/he is expected to focus the attention of our D&A/R team and our internal teams in the development, improvement, and maintenance of the right analytics products.
Provide leadership and guidance for analytics programs supporting Global Procurement talent and Data, Analytics & Reporting Communities.
Collaborate cross-functionally to provide analytics support and thought leadership on critical Mondelēz International and Mondelēz Supply Chain initiatives across the enterprise.
Through the use of internal and external resources,
build, optimize, and/or automate analytics solutions in support of the Global Procurement organization
access and aggregate large, raw data sets from multiple internal/external sources and transform into meaningful analyses, actionable insights, and practical information for decision-making
Leverage a spectrum of analytics capabilities to deploy best solutions for use cases identified
Drive continuous improvement through ongoing simplification and effective communication to raise awareness to performance, gaps, and opportunities.
Assist in the development and maintaining training materials and training strategy for all data, Analytics & Reporting-related tools & processes.
Represent Global Procurement in enterprise or supply chain data initiatives/strategies.
Contribute to the evolution and progression of analytics within Global Procurement and Mondelēz Supply Chain.
Partner with the various Integrated Business Services (IBS) teams as well as Mondelēz Supply Chain (MSC) Central Analytics Team (CAT) and external parties to create a plan to development, improve or implement D&A/R products.
Develop processes for ensuring data accuracy across vendor and materials master datasets.
Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, engineering, computer systems or similar background related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Job specific requirements: 7 years’ experience in related field
Subject-matter expertise in self-service analytics tools (Alteryx), SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc…), data warehouses and Microsoft Office applications
Track record of developing talent within analytics job families
Knowledge of (or proficiency in) advanced analytics applications (e.g., automation, predictive), market intelligence, and data governance
Ability to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise
Solid influencing and collaboration skills and ability to manage team members from different parts of the organization with different sets of priorities and constraints
Comfortable with some level of uncertainty and unclarity and able to make recommendations to move forward
Proven ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment
Experience developing presentations and presenting to senior management desired
Understanding of and/or experience in the Procurement function would be a plus
Work schedule: From Monday to Friday. Hybrid role.
