Job Summary
The Manager of Platform Publishing, ISO, will lead our digital content publishing efforts, overseeing the creation and implementation of content strategies across various digital touchpoints and websites. This role will also be the primary contact for new and ongoing projects in social media, SEO, and other growth areas.
You will ensure high-quality, accurate, and engaging content for priority assets used by thousands of insurance professionals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including corporate, legal, marketing, and compliance, is essential to maintain a strong link between our publication plan, strategic objectives, and industry standards.
This role is crucial in launching new products and revising existing services. You will be a subject matter expert within the internal team, developing and reviewing content or documentation during early development phases, and enforcing best practices in content delivery. Additionally, you will design and deliver self-paced user assistance tools, tutorials, guides, FAQs, and platform release information.
Main Responsibilities:
- Consistently edit and publish high-quality content across platforms, formats, and devices.
- Determine the types of content needed by the organization and the best solutions for each delivery.
- Ensure legally required content is readily available as needed.
- Develop policies and procedures for managing the company's content.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on documentation content delivery best practices.
- Oversee the development, editing, production, and distribution of web content, ensuring SEO optimization.
- Manage all projects to budget and timeline.
- Collaborate with platform leadership and Digital Product Owners (DPOs) to manage web content creation in a fast-paced environment.
- Act as the main point of contact for projects, providing updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
- Implement quality assurance processes, conducting testing and reviews at key project milestones.
- Lead efforts to ensure digital accessibility standards are met and provide guidance on automated and manual testing.
- Implement SEO techniques to enhance content visibility and usability.
- Perform site audits to identify opportunities for improvement in style, accessibility, and performance.
- Use tools like Adobe Analytics to analyze website traffic and user behavior for continuous SEO improvement.

Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in web content creation, editing, and web CMS authoring tools.
- Strong storytelling, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with web analytics and feedback platforms like Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, Tealium.
- Demonstrated success in driving traffic, improving user experience, and optimizing conversion rates.
- Nice to have: Experience with Adobe AEM, SEO principles, UX writing, and developing content guidelines.
- Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
