Position Summary
Monroe County Community College is seeking part-time instructors to teach mathematics courses. Candidates are required to meet with the class on MCCC main campus each week.
Essential Job Functions
Four positions available:
MATH-092/MATH-151 Beginning/Intermediate Algebra: Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00-10:50 AM, all hours ON CAMPUS
MATH-105 Essentials of Mathematics for College Students: Mondays & Wednesdays 3:00-4:50 PM ON CAMPUS and Fridays ONLINE
MATH-157 College Algebra: Tuesdays 5:30-7:20 PM ON CAMPUS with student ONLINE work one hour per week on own
MATH-159 Trigonometry: Mondays & Wednesdays 10:00-11:20 AM, all hours ON CAMPUS
Requirements
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Statistics OR a Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in MATH or equivalent is required. Experience with online and other remote learning tools required, if needed for online teaching. Teaching experience preferred.
