The Material Master Data Manager (MMDM) is responsible for the integrity of SAP Material Master and oversees a team of analysts that create, maintain, analyze, and enrich master data elements and optimize the flow of data between users and stakeholders. The MMDM acts as a subject matter expert and will represent the Monster organization on various company-wide initiatives and projects, collaborating with multiple domain teams and stakeholders across IT, Sales, Finance and Legal orgs building strong networks with customers, and business partners. This position actively engages and works with these cross functional teams for updates, business process reviews and all master data related continuous improvement projects to include the governance of the material master. This position reports directly to the VP of Master Data Management and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Material Master team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage, track and govern changes to material master data (e.g. material, purchasing info record, bill of material etc.) as approved by the business
- Manage communications across stakeholder groups to create high levels of visibility into MMD, accuracy, integrity, etc. and a focus on driving overall customer satisfaction
- Manage processes for the requesting and changing of SAP Master data elements or business rules to ensure impacts are reviewed by appropriate teams.
- Help lead cross functional leadership meetings aimed to resolve issues and identify process gaps opportunities that require stakeholder training or renewed business processes
- Help the team to coordinate weekly priorities with critical BOM focused stakeholders such as regulatory, graphics, commercialization, MMD, Innovation, and MEC leadership to organize and execute according to high level resource plans.
- Assists in data management, governance, and data quality with other functional data owners to ensure functional data integrity across the operation and meets states business rules and requirements.
- Maintain processes (SOPs & RACI) for issuing and maintaining Master Data, Item Master, and BOMs.
- Develop and continually assess work processes to identify opportunities to automate, minimize error and maximize productivity. Develops tools to monitor for compliance to standards
- Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction. Understands the downstream impact of SAP Material Master data and supports end-to-end data integrity and quality.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in discussions or for initiatives requiring material master data content, policies, and/or processes.
- Manage, plan, and coordinate work teams to ensure effective performance. Works with the team to determine the root cause for discrepancies, correct processes, and implement change.

- Provide continuous knowledge transfer to internal resources to support long-term ownership.

- Assists efforts related to System Integration Testing and UAT of master data.
- Works with business SMEs to ensure data adheres to the standards established by the company and meets or exceeds customer needs.
Position Requirements:
- 5 years of management experience building high performing teams
- 5 years of experience with Master Data Management platforms
- 3 - 5 years relevant hands-on experience with SAP
- Demonstrable expert-level understanding of Master Data Management methodologies, particularly in the product domain (PIM and PLM)
- Lean skill set in improving across the entire value stream
- Highly organized in scheduling, executing, prioritizing and multi-tasking.
- Ability to lead with minimal direction/supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent business and financial acumen
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work and lead in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent computer skills with intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Required Bachelors' degree, preferably in business, Supply Chain Operations, or technical related field. Highly desired Lean/six sigma certification, understanding of Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management
