What Makes This Position Special? The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a wide variety of advanced clerical, secretarial and receptionist support to the Executive Director and Administration.
What You’ll Do:
- Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, conferences, travel and special events for the Executive Director and other management staff and maintains the executive calendar.
- May act as a liaison between residents, their families, administration, staff and the community. Welcomes new residents to community and serves as a resource for resolving resident relations issues.
- Prepares correspondence, written proposals, and creates presentations.
- Conducts research for projects using the internet, industry publications, etc.
- Takes minutes for and participates in various meetings and committees.
The Skills You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in administrative support role with a strong customer service background
- Bachelors Degree helpful but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Access with some PowerPoint and Excel experience.
- Experience taking dictation.
- Typing 45-55 WPM.
- Able to keep a positive, professional demeanor in an environment where you will experience interruptions and changing demands.
- Ability to handle discreet personal, sensitive, and confidential information and documentation.
