Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CRMA (Certified Residential Medication Aide) to join our team on a part-time basis. As a CRMA, you will play a crucial role in providing medication administration and support to our residents in an assisted living facility. This position requires knowledge of acute care, senior care, and medical record systems.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and established protocols
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Document medication administration accurately and timely in medical records
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, residents, and their families
Experience:
- Must be a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)
- Previous experience in acute care, senior care, or assisted living is preferred
- Familiarity with medical record systems is essential
