Job Overview: Office Manager/Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Experience Required)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow. Must be proficient in Quickbooks. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen and excellent organizational skills.
Duties:
- Maintain Quickbooks
- Handle all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail
- Prepare and distribute internal communications and memos
- Assist with budgeting and financial management tasks
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate corporate accounting practices
- Monitor and manage office expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, public accounting, financial concepts, and debits/credits
- Proficiency in Quicken or similar financial software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
