What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Montessori Academy of Arcadia?
Preschool Teacher will plan and implement developmentally and age appropriate classroom activities for young children that will improve their literacy, numeric, language, cognitive, fine and gross motor skills; improve positive attitudes toward learning, social behavior and emotional well-being as well as their physical health. Provides for health and safety of all children in his/her classroom. A preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children. Minimum Qualifications Include:
* 12 Core Early Childhood Education Units ( in progress) ** -
*Montessori qualified is preferred
* Experience working in a classroom with Preschool-Age Children
* Ability to plan and implement Curriculum, Lesson Plans and age appropriate activities
* Current First Aid/CPR or a willingness to obtain with job offer
* Live scan (Fingerprint) clearance
* Up to date Immunization (DTAP / MMR), TB
