Montgomery Automotive Group is a leading retailer of cars and trucks in the region. Our Hardin County corporate office is currently hiring a title clerk. As a title clerk you can expect to process new and used vehicles sold, provide updates on title work, resolve titling issues, and other tasks assigned by management.
Automotive Title Clerk Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in an accounting office with staff that are supporting two dealerships.
- Process all new and used vehicles sold for registration in the state in which the vehicle will be titled.
- Provide weekly update on status of title issues and current processing date of title work related to sold vehicles.
- Resolve titling issues through interaction with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies.
- Run outstanding title reports, review, and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles.
- Maintain knowledge of current DMV regulations as they relate to vehicle titles.
- Cross-train with other staff to back each other up in daily tasks.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Automotive Title Clerk Requirements
- Great communication and people skills.
- Have the ability to communicate over emails and phone calls.
- Have strong computer skills.
- Have a strong work ethic and be self motivating.
- Able to pass a background and drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
