The People Operations Team is responsible for the behind the scenes processes, systems, & compliance within Human Resources.
The HR Operations Coordinator is an integral part of the People (HR) Team. Reporting to the People Operations Partner, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the day to day administrative, system management and processes relating to the employee lifecycle are executed and running smoothly. This individual will serve as a point of contact for general people inquiries, leave management, benefits administration and system support.

\n- People Administration - providing support and assistance to the People Operations Team with all administration and paperwork throughout the employee life cycle across the US.
- Benefits Administration - responsible for the administration of MOO’s benefits programs in the US including supporting open enrollment efforts (reporting, education, set up of benefits and communication), day to day benefits administration and benefits compliance.
- New Starter Onboarding - working with the wider People Team to build a good rapport with all new starters from when they are offered the role to when they start at MOO including preparing all documentation, email correspondence and running the new starter orientations.
- Data Integrity - ensure that all databases and trackers are updated at all times and that information on all staff is accurate. Conduct regular data audits to capture and correct any potential discrepancies.
- Leavers - managing the leaver process and conducting exit interviews
- HR Information Systems - providing advice and support on the HR systems (ADP, Bamboo, 15Five, CultureAmp, Spoke) to employees, managing mass changes via data imports and running ad-hoc reports as required and maintain/updating system processes as needed (benefits, onboarding, etc.).
- Payroll Administration – serve as a liaison between the People Team and Payroll to ensure any changes or leaves are communicated and reviewed with Payroll.
- Employee Experience Management - administration surveys relating to onboarding, first 90 days of employment, exits and engagement.
- HR Programs - supporting the People team with projects for example, onboarding, pay review, performance management, inclusion & diversity, candidate experience and other projects
- Leave Management- Support in the management and communication of leaves of absence such as (FMLA, ACA, STD, State Leaves, Etc.)
- Other Tasks: Provide support on ad-hoc projects as needed.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR Administration Role
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Experience with benefits management
- At least 1 year experience in HRIS systems such as ADP or a similar equivalent system with a strong ability to effectively ensure data integrity
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Office and Google applications specifically excel
- An incredible eye for detail - you make sure all the i's are dotted and the t's crossed!
- Curious learner - someone who goes the extra mile to better understand and self-educate on areas that they may not be familiar with
- A good sense of fun and willingness to learn
- You are process orientated, love getting into the detail, and enjoy sweating the small stuff
- You have experience in project work, showing initiative and proactivity
- You have heaps of enthusiasm, diplomacy and patience
- A sense of urgency and confident working in an ever changing environment
