Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Manager to control and oversee all business operations, people and growth. You will be the highest ranking manager in the organisation, answering directly to the owners. Our company develops and manufactures its own products and sells other manufacturers' products via our web site, online marketplaces, and wholesale distribution.
The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to help steer the company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long term goals.
The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the owners.
- Provide strategic advice to the owners so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
- Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
- Oversee the company’s financial performance and other business ventures
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of team members providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
Duties include:
– Maintains staff (hiring, training, coaching, scheduling).
– Maintains all policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
– Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
– Ensures that production and stock levels are as needed; coordinates imports and deals with any issues or delays; oversees quality control.
– Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.
– Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Salary & benefits:
Salary will be offered based on experience, education, and skills. Performance bonuses and health benefits will be available after 90 days. Paid holidays and vacations will be offered.
Our offices are located in Pisgah Forest, about 30-35 minutes from downtown Asheville, NC.
