What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Systems Engineer position at Moog Inc?
To be considered for the position of System Engineer, you need a minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
Reporting to the WNY Defense Staff Engineering Manager, you will learn the language and basic principles of system engineering. The products of Moog generally are unique for each customer. Therefore, most new applications require a special, tailored design, even though adaptation of existing designs is always considered. You will face new and different challenges engaging all engineering disciplines throughout the product life cycle.
Responsibilities of the WNY Defense Associate System Engineer include:
- Contributing to the analysis, conceptual design, development, and test of complex control hardware used on military vehicles and equipment
- Learning the product development process
- Determining the customer's needs, Moog product architecture, analysis approaches and project management processes (cost and schedule)
- Support subsections of the System Engineering responsibilities
- Occasional travel to support customer meetings and business development needs
