Moog is looking for our next Global Head of Talent Acquisition to help us attract and onboard the talent required to further develop as an inclusive company focused on creating and delivering the best solutions for our customers. This is a key role that shapes strategy and drives the hiring plans for our innovative engineering and manufacturing oriented business. The role leads all Talent Acquisition activities in the United States and influences hiring activities globally. Moog hires nearly 2,000 people a year.
This role will be based in East Aurora, New York. A hybrid working schedule is available.

- Lead and develop a team of passionate recruiters and talent acquisition operations team members based throughout the United States
- Help drive a cultural shift in which all our employees and hiring managers share a passion and an urgency to hire great talent, especially in today’s dynamic talent marketplace
- Enable a more deliberate shift to “building” talent vs “buying” talent
- Ensure our recruiting processes are efficient, well understood and provide a positive experience for our candidates and hiring managers
- Successfully expand the aperture of who we recruit and hire
- Create initiatives that position Moog as innovative, attractive employer in the marketplace
- Engage with our global talent acquisition community to develop and implement global initiatives that improve our hiring effectiveness throughout the world.
Who are you?
You are a strong leader with a great mix of talent acquisition expertise, broad human resources acumen and a business orientation. You enjoy navigating ambiguous situations, building innovative solutions, creating strong working relationships, and influencing change. Additionally, we are looking for:
- At least 10 years of experience leading a recruiting function in a fast-growth technology or Engineering company
- Results orientation with high standards of performance
- Proven strategic thinker who incorporates a collaborative, inclusive working style

- Ability to generate and analyze metrics, hard and soft data to measure performance and inform strategy.
