Our team in Corporate Human Resources is looking for a Production Recruiting Lead to join them. You will report to the Global Talent Acquisition Leader and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
As a Production Recruiting Lead, you will partner with line managers to provide comprehensive recruiting services for hourly, non-exempt level positions. You will recruit candidates to work in a variety of skilled areas at both local and remote locations, while leading a team of non-exempt recruiters and building effective sourcing and recruiting strategies in these areas. This is an exciting opportunity to build strong working relationships with managers and HR Business Partners, to support the Production Recruiting CoE.
To be considered for Production Recruiting Lead, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus at least five (5) years of directly related experience
- Directly related experience should include leading a team of direct reports as well as knowledge of the hiring process and general human resources policies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be extremely process-driven, and process improvement oriented
- Knowledge of Moog’s Assembly & Test, Machine Shop, Facilities, and Quality/Inspection/Calibration areas, in various operating groups, is strongly preferred
As a Production Recruiting Lead, you will:
- Identify and recruit candidates through a variety of sources including referrals, social media, and professional associations
- Leverage Moog's Employment Value Proposition during all aspects of recruitment
- Effectively prioritize workload and manage changes in direction
- Conduct effective phone screens and coordinate the interview process
- Promote optimal staffing decisions by selectors by providing useful advice, guidance and training throughout the employment process
- Extend and negotiate offers of employment
- Develop strategic relationships with managers to not only fill current needs but receive advance notice of future requirements
- Maintain all compliance documentation
- Manage non-exempt recruiting team; evaluating requisition workload, providing guidance on sourcing strategies, etc.
- Provide data for reporting, which could include DE&I, time-to-fill, offer accept/decline, etc.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and managers to create strategies around a skilled talent pipeline and high volume hiring
- Initiating and coordinating hiring events as needed, including on and off-site career fairs and interview days
