Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities: Coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, outside services, tools, parts and supplies for the organization performing the following duties.
Essential Functions:
- Review and convert requisitions
- Responsible for internal & external supply chain
- Confer with vendors to obtain products or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Ensure the Key Performance Indicators of Inventory are met
- Process Owner of Supply Chain Analytics module, manage inventory and to provide timely feedback to shop floor on discrepancies
- Set, monitor, and maintain appropriate safety stock levels
- Perform analysis as required to improve operational efficiency of Supply Chain Processes
- Develop supplier report cards, ranking system and supplier feedback and maintain on a continuous basis
- Represent the supply chain function in all external standard suppliers or customer audits
- Interface with accounting on invoice discrepancies
- Create & maintain Supply Chain Procedures
- Routinely negotiate pricing, supplier agreements/contracts and other legal documents
- Perform other duties as may be assigned or required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members
