What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Laborer position at Morgan Corp.?
We are currently searching for a Shop Laborer to work with our Equipment Division in Charlotte. This position performs a variety duties related to shop maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Pressure wash and detail equipment
- Groundskeeping
- Assist with yard cleanup and organization as needed
- Assist mechanics as needed
- Minor equipment maintenance – under the mechanics supervision
- Working under the supervision of the shop foreman
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
- Cleaning and maintaining a clean shop
- Parts runs and pickup truck deliveries as required.
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- High school diploma preferred although not mandatory
Work Environment:
Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity, for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs., stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
