What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Security Due Diligence Vice President position at Morgan Stanley?
-Oversees and manages CSI global due diligence for IBD.
-Working with the Third-Party Program Management Team (TPPM Team) and other CSI offices to ensure SDD is being conducted timely and in adherence with CSI and TPPM Team service level agreements.
-Supervise and manage a team or teams of FTE and contingents who conduct client due diligence/business intelligence investigations for the Firm utilizing an array of public information databases and sources for IBD
-Review in-house reports to ensure they meet the highest standard of accuracy and completeness and verify that sufficient backup/source documentation has been attached to the case record.
-When risk issues are found, ensure that these issues have been thoroughly researched and documented within the report, are appropriately highlighted within the report so as to receive immediate attention and are escalated as necessary to the business unit, the TTPM Team, Global Financial Crimes, Risk, Environment and Social Risk Management, LCD coverage officer, senior management and regional and global franchise risk committees.
-Compile and analyze business unit metrics to identify trends that may warrant additions, reductions or reassignment of staff.
-Interact with counterparts within Corporate Services and CSI, participating in working groups and ad hoc meetings sharing ideas to improve systems and processes.
-Interact and collaborate with senior business unit management and Risk officers to address needs, escalate findings appropriately, manage expectations and improve business service levels and relationships.
-Annually review, develop and refine existing supplier policies and procedures with respect to IBD management due diligence.
-Develop proficiency in case management databases (CSID3, SPAR) to monitor and track adherence to TTPM intake, assignment, and completion service level agreements.
-Represent Corporate Security as a subject matter expert in high level IBD risk management meetings on a monthly/biweekly basis.
-Oversight of Americas due diligence suppliers, to include owning and updating as required supplier SPARs and working with suppliers and Finance to ensure that contracts are current for IBD.

-Four year college degree.
-5 years of EDD/KYC related experience. Investigative and or analytical experience may be substituted.
-3 years supervisory experience.
-Extensive knowledge of the laws applicable to money laundering, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), The USA Patriot Act, OFAC and FCPA.
-Mastery of public record databases, internet sites, due diligence vendors and information resources for use during due diligence research. In addition, responsible for the identification of new databases and vendors that will enhance the due diligence process.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Outlook).
-Exceptional business writing, editing, analytical, and communication skills.
-Experience running meetings and speaking to large groups.
-Organizational and time management skills.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 110000 and 190000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
