The Analytics & Data (A&D) Organization is a key growth area within Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Division playing a critical role in the execution of the wider Wealth Management strategy. The team owns end-to-end analytical support for Digital Direct Client Services for E*TRADE by Morgan Stanley. Digital Direct is comprised of all client -facing teams who support our customers through delivering top of the line sales, service, and support. Working together with the sales and service leadership teams we provide reporting and analytics where we not only measure past performance but also collaborate with the business partners and provide information to influence future business practices and decisions. We aim to be true business partners and provide data driven insights on products, programs, and performance.
Job Responsibilities:
Build robust reporting and insights to understand and provide insights for Field Management KPIs including asset flows, customer inquiries, and customer satisfaction, leveraging best practices in data manipulation and the latest tools and technologies.
Query large amounts of data using SQL and Tableau and other data manipulation tools to create reporting that transforms data into usable information for business partners. Will be required to curate data and build source tables to ensure metrics are used correctly throughout organization and display analytical rigor by ensuring we deliver validated metrics that are often referenced to as a single source of truth.
Provide 360 support working to understand the business needs to ensure the analytics and reporting provided is understood, valuable, and actionable.
Maintain a consistent high level of attention to risk mitigation and data quality issues. Proactively raise at-risk areas to be addressed.
Partner with stakeholders to identify and expand opportunities and use-cases that data and analytics in making business decisions
Analyze large, complex data sets to reveal underlying patterns, correlations and trends quantitatively
