FP&A Lead

About Morning Consult: Morning Consult is a global decision intelligence company changing how modern leaders make smarter, faster, better decisions. The company pairs its proprietary high-frequency data with applied artificial intelligence to better inform decisions on what people think and how they will act. Ideally this position would be based in Washington, DC, however we are open to our other office locations or remote within the US. The Role: Morning Consult is looking for an energetic, self-motivated leader to lead, build and optimize Morning Consult’s FP&A team. By designing and implementing the budgeting and forecasting functions, this role will provide forward-thinking analysis alongside longer term technical solutions and business insights. Due to the high-growth nature of our business, the duties and responsibilities of this position may evolve over time, so candidates who have the desire to grow with the position are preferred. Ideal candidates will have an entrepreneurial mindset, able to balance execution (with high attention to detail) on multiple projects and priorities. Experience in both finance (banking, PE/VC) and rapidly growing startup environments are highly desirable. As the leader of FP&A at Morning Consult reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this role requires a self-starter who is eager to take initiative and get heavily into the details. By bringing a knowledge of modeling best practices, critical financial systems, and business acumen, this role has a unique opportunity to measure and inform critical business decisions of a high growth company.
