About the role:
The role is responsible for ideating, strategizing, planning, executing, and managing integrated research marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement across professional audiences. You will play a strategic, consultative role by providing rationalization and guidance to Marketing on prioritizing and devising campaign plans while executing them with regular oversight and reports on progress. You must be able to analyze data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering strategic, ROI-driven lead generation programs that generate pipeline impact across multiple audiences. This position is based out of our Chicago office and hybrid attendance is required.
Job responsibilities:
- Support Research Marketing in the planning and delivery of global research marketing campaigns to meet awareness, engagement, and lead gen goals for new and existing business
- Build strong relationships with internal and external cross-functional partners across business units to plan and manage the delivery of centralized creative campaign assets
- Provide support to product marketing and associated campaign managers to ensure the successful implementation of research marketing campaigns globally
- Work with research marketing, product marketing and associated campaign managers to build and activate campaign architecture frameworks for all research marketing campaigns-with the goal of accelerating funnel velocity and generating pipeline impact
- Partner with experiential and field marketing teams to extend research marketing campaigns through virtual and on-site events and webinars with strategic campaign planning, promotion, execution, and follow-up
- Support the management and coordination of Research Marketing calendar of campaigns, programs, and events to ensure operational alignment and efficiencies
- Serve as a consultant in connecting Research content marketing and thought leadership programs and materials, to Brand campaigns, and collaborate on promotional planning in support of these programs
- Collaborate with SEO and content strategy experts to build keyword ownership across research campaign targets
- Test and measure campaign strategies to optimize performance and marketing channels and analyze campaign KPIs, providing feedback to various stakeholders for recalibration
- Track competitor brand marketing activity and messaging, developments and trends
- Provide leadership for other marketers and campaign managers by sharing best practices and providing strategic guidance
- Coordinate campaign efforts with global corporate communications team, internal comms, and executive comms
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in B2B marketing with a strong emphasis on event marketing, brand marketing, and lead generation
- Extensive experience in creating and executing integrated campaigns, with a demonstrated track record of exceptional achievement in lead generation programs for B2B companies
- Some familiarity with 3rd-party and out-of-home ad placement in traditional and digital media outlets
- Strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and resource allocation
- Hard-working self-starter able to navigate a fast-paced environment while still providing attention to detail and approaching tasks conscientiously
- Highly strategic, consultative player who can plan (think) and execute (do)
- Ability to think outside of the box and innovate the art of marketing
- Proven track record managing multiple priorities with cross-functional teams
- Ability to articulate and present plans to sales leaders and executives
- Bachelor's degree is required
