Software Engineer – Financial Planning and Reporting

Job Description: We are seeking a Software Engineer – Financial Planning and Reporting. The role is a member of the Corporate Systems team and responsible for the administration, configuration, development, and support of our cloud-based Oracle EPM modules and related reporting including Financial Consolidation and Close System (FCCS), Planning Business Consolidation System (PBCS) and Workforce Planning module. The candidate must have strong technical, analytical, problem-solving skills and understanding of Accounting and Financial Reporting. The admin will also participate in FP&A technology & process improvement initiatives, supporting enhanced reporting and analysis capabilities. This position will report to the FP&A Technology Senior Product Owner. Role & Responsibility: Chart of Account master data creation, maintenance, and mapping in Oracle ERP for FCCS& PBCS System administration: monthly close process/consolidation; create and maintain end-user web forms; develop and maintain rules based on business needs Responsible for validation of data for movement between financial applications Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues related to Oracle EPM and related applications Ensure reliability and stability of production environment and resolve any production issues in a timely manner Proactively develop, coordinate, and provide on-going training, functional and technical direction to EPM users Assist with EPM and related system implementations, upgrades, license management, security, auditing, and future/additional product evaluation as needed Keeping current on new functionality, features of FCCS, PBCS, financial reporting capabilities, market trends, and other industry products. Have an in depth understanding of business processes related to specific areas of FCCS and PBCS including understanding of E2E integration points. Work with the vendor to maintain platform health and look for continuous improvement options, as well as assist with troubleshooting/resolution of escalated product issues. Ensure system and process alignment with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and IT general controls, as well as security. Lead the relationship with both the software vendor and any professional services engagements. Business Stakeholder Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Info Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology with a Business minor, or equivalent work experience required Experience with administration, solution design, system configuration and implementation of changes within FCCS and PBCS. Experience with enterprise level financial reporting across systems. Ability to plan, execute, and improve work processes to ensure achievement of business objectives Experience integrating FP&A platforms across other finance systems and reporting tools. Experience working with Oracle and third-party implementation and system integration vendors. Understanding of key FP&A concepts and processes. Familiarity with SOX controls and awareness of technical security operations and information security standards.
