Salary: $55,000 - $75,000, depending on experience and location, with a rewarding bonus compensation and retirement program.

Position Profile: The Human Resources Specialist's primary responsibilities include benefits and wellness program administration and managing the onboarding and offboarding programs for employee-owners.

Successful candidates should have professional experience in or a desire to learn about:

  • Administering company’s benefit programs, including health, life, and disability insurance and health savings accounts.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for questions about benefits, leave administration, onboarding, and other miscellaneous questions.
  • Leading the annual insurance open enrollment process, including coordinating on-site meetings at our office locations.
  • Managing wellness program, including communicating program activities, coordinating health screenings, collaborating with vendors, and making recommendations on additions/changes to the program.
  • Keeping abreast of employment laws and regulations and ensuring adherence to requirements.
  • Providing general HR support including conducting exit interviews, responding to unemployment claims, and filing required reports.

You will also be expected to:

  • Support the broader efforts of the HR team and company community.
  • Ensure employee-owners are given a top-notch internal client experience.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.

This position will require periodic travel to Morrison-Maierle offices and, at times, may be asked to travel to other venues.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Human Resources or related field and two to five years of related human resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. HR generalist or benefit administration experience preferred.

HR Professional Certification (SHRM or HRCI) or ability to acquire certification.

  • Proficient with HRIS software, ADP knowledge a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize and complete competing demands.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills.
  • Interface effectively with employee owners, managers, and vendors.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Positive attitude and professional bearing.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
