Senior System Engineer

MOSAIC is seeking a Senior System Engineer  to support a contract in the San Antonio, TX area.  

Position Overview:

Using your experience and expertise in system engineering, you will configure commercially acquired web services to customer requirements; monitor status, and make updates as needed. In addition, you will:

• Configure and maintain Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC) critical infrastructure
• Design and build the IT framework or environment
• Guide IT technical projects to produce results that comply with the established project requirements and IT architecture
• Identify, manage, measure, and maximize reuse, and manage changes to the IT architecture
• Keep IT architecture up-to-date by reviewing and introducing changes based on project requirements
• Collaborate with technical and application teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions to support project requirements
• Design and integrate various functions of network and telecommunications equipment into functional systems using international, U.S., and military standards
• Document equipment layout with regard to power, cooling, security, and functionality
• Understand and integrate serial and IP encryptions into networks and systems, as necessary
• Understand emerging telecommunications trends and technologies and implement new technologies as appropriate
• Integrate appropriate installation hardware such as equipment racks and necessary cabling
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• You must meet the minimum requirements:

  • 8 years of working experience on
    • High Assurance Internet Protocol
    • Interoperability Specification (HAIPIS) and Type-I certified High Assurance Internet
    • Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE)
  • 2 years of working experience with the design, development, testing and evaluation of the KIV-7M, KG-175 (D, G, F, X), and KSV-21 Automated Updater
  • 2 years of working experience in CHIMERA
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • IAT Level II Certification
  • Familiarity with the following software: Juniper, PFSense, OpenNebula, Elastic Kibana, Zentayl, and FreeIPA
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required
