**Introduction to the team**
The Family Office is a sub department of our Private Clients Advisory \(PCA\) practice that provides clients with the resources they need to manage complex financial affairs and reach their personal and family goals.
The Family Office A/P Senior Associate works with high-net-worth families to satisfy daily financial needs. This position is responsible for payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. This position will also be required to book journal entries and prepare monthly reports. The family office is a small team inside a larger organization. The work is fast paced and quite steady.

**Responsibilities:**
Processes high volume of incoming invoices and charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries into QuickBooks
Pays vendors by scheduling and preparing checks
Manages vendors, including resolving invoice/payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Audits and processes client's household employee expense reimbursement forms
Monitors current cash balances for all operating accounts
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
Prepares monthly reporting required by various clients
Assists high end clients with operational questions; works directly with client personnel for billpay process
Reviews financial statements to determine which vendors require 1099s; process 1099s accordingly
Manages and maintains historical records through scanning and electronic document management
Coordinates medical insurance claims
Processes and coordinates incoming mail
Protects various clients' value by keeping information confidential
**Qualifications:**
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required
Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook required
Experience with Bill.com and QuickBooks preferred
Understanding of payroll a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Flexible, collaborative team player, with a solutions oriented approach for our team and clients
Ability to demonstrate depth of knowledge and skill in technical area\(s\)
