Moss Utilities Fleet Department plays a critical role in helping the Company achieve its goals. As a direct
service provider to the Operations Team, the Fleet Department is responsible for ensuring all Company
owned equipment, rented equipment, vehicles and small tools are in good, operable condition every day.
The Shop Helper is ultimately tasked with keeping workspaces neat and orderly and making sure parts,
tools and supplies are delivered in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities
● Keep the yard and shop clean - pickup trash, sweep shop, empty trash cans, etc.
● Keep the yard and shop organized.
● Pickup parts and/or supplies and deliver them to the appropriate locations.
● Assist mechanics and technicians with repairs and maintenance as needed.
● Assist with the receiving of material and supply deliveries.
● Assist with the management of small tools and small equipment.
● Work safely at all times, in accordance with Company and Customer policies/procedures.
● Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
● Other tasks as business needs necessitate.
Qualifications
● Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral).
● Ability to conduct herself or himself with utmost professionalism.
● Ability to work cooperatively as part of a larger team.
● Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
● Must be able to operate a forklift.
● Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved by Company’s insurance.
● High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
