Manage an attractive, warm and challenging learning environment for Head Start children, incorporating appropriate early intervention, learning and care activities which meet the needs of the group as well as those of individual children and families. Effectively implementing the MET Head Start education curriculum. Strong desire to succeed. Patient, able to resolve conflicts, gentle, loving, kind, creative, and resourceful.
Applicant will possess an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Science, Public Administration or a related field. Bachelor degree preferred or enrolled in one of these related fields. Head Start experience preferred. Detail and multi-task oriented. Strong organizational, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Must be able to cope with stress. Time spent in strenuous physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs.
