POSITION: Receptionist with Physical Therapy Facility

POSITION DESCRIPTION: MOTI is currently searching for just the right individual to be the face of our business to each individual that enters the MOTI facility. As Patient Coordinator, this person’s primary responsibilities will consist of the following:
- Welcoming each individual that enters the MOTI office and directing them to the appropriate person, location, or next step
- Pleasantly answering in-bound phone calls and taking appropriate follow-up steps
- Working as a sales person to effectively convert inquiring potential clients into scheduled clients
- Scheduling therapy and training sessions for clients using MOTI’s systems
- Completing the intake process for first time clients
- Determining insurance coverage and benefits with client insurance providers
- Performing miscellaneous activities needed to ensure great service to clients and efficient and effective operation of the office
- Proactively working with the rest of the MOTI team to ensure outstanding client experiences, and to identify how we can continuously improve our business
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: The Patient Coordinator establishes the first impression for each individual entering the MOTI office. Therefore, a positive, welcoming, service oriented personality is essential to this position. MOTI will provide necessary training on the MOTI specific processes and systems, but the qualified candidate will have the following experiences and capabilities:
- At least one year experience as a receptionist in a medical office setting. Receptionist experience in a wellness, personal fitness, or spa setting will also be considered
- Outstanding phone skills and etiquette
- Well-spoken and understood in the English language. Additional languages are beneficial
- Proficiency with Mac computers and computer systems
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
- Experience with medical billing and collections.
- Experience in the Physical Therapy field a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
