MPTF provides social and charitable services, quality healthcare, senior care and services, and much more. We are seeking a Relief Nursing Supervisor.
Nursing Supervisor Relief is an On-Call/Part-Time relief position responsible for supervising nursing personnel and patient care for the MPTF Hospital on Wasserman Campus. This position has responsibility for patients in the hospital (Center for Behavioral Health) as well as everyone in Long-Term Care and Harry’s Haven, our memory impaired unit. The Supervisor ensures delivery of comprehensive nursing services and coordinates operations; maintains appropriate staffing levels and monitors the performance of nursing units; and works collaboratively with physicians and professional staff to support the physical and psychosocial well-being of patients, friends, and families. Must maintain a cooperative relationship among health care team members, and participates in team problem solving.
Position Requirements:
· Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with appropriate licensure for the state of CA; BSN degree preferred
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably with prior supervisor experience
· Current CA RN license, BLS and MAB certs required
