Duties: Develop and execute the functional test plans for autonomous drive vehicles. Responsible for the setup, configuration, day-to-day use, and maintenance of advanced vehicle test equipment for closed course testing of advanced autonomous features. Develop comprehensive test procedures that fully verify and validate associated requirements, ODD and design documentation. Execute closed course validation testing for Autonomous Vehicle involving perception, navigation, and safety functionalities. Analyze CAN and ethernet data logs for post-validation test data verification activities. Communicate test results to development teams and management and facilitate resolution of technical issues. Balance feature test workload with bench counterpart as necessary. Author validation reports and provide weekly metrics for test related data. Position is fixed location based in the Pittsburgh office; however, telecommuting from a home office may be allowed. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Mechatronic Engineering, or other directly related field plus (1) year of industry experience in testing or V&V work experience on automotive vehicles. Must have 1 year of industry experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):functional test plan development, execution, and reporting for autonomous vehicles. Data collection, analysis, and use of collected data based upon requirements and design documentation.
