The Opportunity:
As a HR and Culture Manager, you will be:
- Responsible for concepting, defining and implementing innovative programs that set Motive apart, drive employee engagement and overall retention
- Supporting overall human resource and talent management execution; focused on retention initiatives, training, employee recognition and wellness programs
- Leading company benefits training and administration - including evaluating and consistently working to improve upon existing offerings. Benefits plans are ultimately defined by the parent company, but the role will frequently work alongside the global HR team.
- Leading employee orientation and onboarding programs across the organization in partnership with the Talent Management team
- Partnering with the talent team to build internal DE&I programs
- Overseeing the performance review process ensuring all managers are completing performance reviews in a timely manner, and processing related compensation changes as needed
- Leading company culture programs that drive employee connection from introduction to execution, ensuring they align with business strategy
- Managing budgets related to areas of involvement
- Managing database updates as employee information changes
- Regularly ensuring the team is aware of labor law changes at the state and federal levels, and leading any necessary changes
- Liaising with parent and sister companies as required
- Supporting recruitment efforts as needed across offices
About you:
Experience: You’ve got at least 5+ years of human resources experience and/or other relevant talent management, preferably with a background at an advertising agency and a basic understanding of creative work. You have experience working across multiple projects at once and meeting deadlines. You have experience working Google Suite. Knowledge of Workday and/or Greenhouse ATS is a plus.

You think outside the box and challenge yourself and do more than the status quo.
Self Starter: You’re excited to learn new skills and raise your hand for new projects. When you know the next step for a project, you run with it and are able to deliver before you’re asked. You keep yourself and the team up to date on new industry trends, and know how to translate those learnings into potential proactive initiatives. You are resourceful and can work independently, but function productively within a team setting.
Excellent Communicator: You know how to communicate factually without losing your voice. You can humanize complex ideas like benefits and make traditionally boring subject matter exciting and fun. You’re detail-oriented and don’t miss deadlines, but if you know you will, you’re able to communicate that to your team and provide alternative solutions.
