Car Wash Attendant Job Description

The Wash Werks Attendant guides customers safely into the entrance and exit of the car wash.  The Attendant insures that customers and their vehicles are treated with the highest standards and all carwash equipment operates as efficiently as possible, keeping the entrance and exit clean and presentable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Guides customers in their vehicles onto the belt system.
• Maintains the speed, placement and spacing of the vehicles entering the car wash tunnel.
• Prepares the exterior of the vehicle prior to entering the wash tunnel.
• Inspects vehicles for damage before and after going through the car wash.
• Maintains the car wash to remain clean and safe for customers and employees.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Car Wash Attendant Qualifications

• Previous car wash experience helpful but not necessary.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and four or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
