What you will do:
- Operate and program Surface Mount Technology (SMT) JUKI equipment to build electrical assemblies.
- Knowledge of the use of mechanical hand tools & soldering equipment.
- Inspect incoming or production materials or articles for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Highly skilled in problem solving techniques & methods (product, process & procedure).
- Working knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics & mechanical operations/system.
- Perform the regular maintenance on equipment's & create and maintain inspection reports as required.
- Experience with troubleshooting Selective solder wave equipment.
- Experience in set-up reflow oven profiles.
- Able to perform the troubleshoot issue on the Equipment.
- Monitor, analyze, reduce, and record data. Perform mathematical calculations.
- Assist in the development or preparation of Work Instructions and specific maintenance procedure.
- Read, comprehend, and execute technical process specifications, procedures, and standards.
- Implement EHS processes and procedures; recognize safety hazards, including hazardous materials, and pursue corrective action when necessary.
- May make continuous improvement suggestions and participate in initiatives to improve productivity and process efficiency.
- Lead, train, and coordinate work schedules, priorities, and tasks of other technicians.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 years' experience on SMT & Through-hole solder equipment required.
- Experience with AOI, SPI, reflow ovens, Pick & Place machine (JUKI required) & selective solder equipment is necessary.
