The Mount Abraham Unified School District (MAUSD) is a public school dedicated to providing a high-quality education for all students. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team of Educational Assistants at MTA M/HSThe Educational Assistant will work under the direction of certified teachers to provide instructional and support services to students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Responsibilities: Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and strategies to meet the individual needs of students. Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students as directed by the teacher.
Support students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, math, and other subjects. Assist with classroom management and behavior support, including implementing positive behavior interventions. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Assist with the supervision of students during classroom activities, transitions, and other times as needed.Working Conditions: This is a full-time school year position with hours 8 am to 3:30 pm.
