What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Mountainside Hospitality LLC?
Mountainside Hospitality operates the well-know Mountain and Lake courses at Wasatch Mountain State park. The courses are consistently ranked among the most popular, affordable, and scenic in Utah.
Position Responsibilities:
- Accurately take orders from guests, submit to kitchen using Point-of-Sales (POS) software, deliver food and drinks, bus tables or assist busser/runner
- Knowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specials
- In an honest and timely manner, prepare checks, process credit cards, accept and make accurate change for cash payments
- Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company procedures
- Provide timely, courteous service to all guests throughout the meal service
- Set tables, polish glasses, prepare workstations and other side work as assigned
- Accurately prepare sales and tip reports at shift’s end, deposit cash and credit card receipts
- Complete other front of house duties such as host, and busser- food runner as needed to meet business requirements
Position Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperwork
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
Experience:
- Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment preferred
