What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Grain Facility Manager position at Mountaire Jobs?
Oversee all operations at individual Grain Facility. These operations include Safety, Environmental, Employee retention, meeting operational goals, receiving and keeping grain in Quality standards, loading grain out for sales, Customer Service, Communication with Support departments.
Duties/Activities Required by Job
- People Management-Provides overall direction and support to Grain Facilities to achieve operational and safety goals. Supervise employee activities. Guides training & development activities related to Grain Facilities to develop competency and commitment.
- Safety/Enviro/Regulatory Compliance
- Provides and manages customer Service activities - both internal( feed mills) and external customers(farmers & agri-business)
- Operations, Quality, and reporting
- Executes capital & M&R Projects
Educations/Experience Requirements
- High School, BS preferred or related work experience
- 5-7 years experience
- Subject Matter Expert, OSHA ,People management, knowledge of industry, customer service, encourage membership, GEAPS(Grain, Elevator, and Processing Society)
