OVERVIEW 
Movement Strategy is seeking a Creative Director, Art to lead a team of creatives doing best-in-class social-led creative. You will work closely with the Executive Creative Director and agency leadership to lead creative for our clients, help with new business, and manage a team of eager creatives. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the digital and social media space—and redefining the model for editorialized social content created by brands. 

We are looking for someone with agency experience working on large brands, and experience being the creative lead on lifestyle and consumer based clients. Experience in entertainment isn’t necessary, but is a huge plus.  We are looking for candidates with an art background.

Movement Strategy is an independent social media agency with a focus on digital marketing initiatives through the combined use of strategic creativity and deep knowledge of the latest social features, tools, and digital trends. With over a decade of experience, Movement produces groundbreaking work for partners including Netflix, Amazon, HBO Max, Warner Bros., and Klarna.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Creative Director, Art, you’ll work closely with client teams to conceptualize, create, and shepherd through content. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conceptualizing on larger, campaign-level ideas and content
• Overseeing social content creation and ideation for multiple social channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter
• Leading creative team of writers, designers, art directors and video editors

REQUIREMENTS

• 10 years creating cross-platform digital and social marketing campaigns

• Strong experience providing guidance and mentorship to teams at the mid and senior level, including writers, creative strategists, art directors and designers
• Familiar with up-to-date fashion/social trends, and evaluate the trends, assess new data with the latest marketing techniques

• Strong content design skills including static, print, and video content

• Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator

• Proficiency with Motion, After Effects and Premiere is a major plus

• Strong knowledge of emerging social platforms

• Knowledge of the full creative process including video content creation

• Ability to oversee work from idea to execution and distribution
