Forward-thinking, tech based startup MoviePass is looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms, website integration and knowledge of the youth markets.
This position requires critical thinking and a person who is not afraid to jump in. This internship will report to the head of marketing and offers a lot of hands-on experience and real responsibility.
- Own the day-to-day creative for our social channels and deliver quick-turn assets, as well as planned campaigns.
- Manage and moderate online communities including responding to comments and messages, moderating discussions, and engaging with users, studios and exhibitors to build a positive and welcoming community.
- Use data and insights to inform and refine the creative process, constantly optimizing for results.
- Manage content calendars and workflow to ensure timely and consistent delivery of content
- Develop & maintain a library of content assets, such as images & videos
- Repurpose content for different channels and formats, such as adapting a blog post into a video or infographic
- Hone the brand voice and ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all assets.
- Develop and maintain an asset library of images, videos, and graphics.
- Turn trending ideas into shippable output, and deliver on-point, effective videos, graphics and other relevant social assets that are social-first and highly consumable
- Write compelling email copy for various campaigns. This may include newsletters, promotional emails, and other types of email communications.
- Monitor and connect with all exhibitor partners and studio social media.
- Practical experience with social media campaigns and customer relations
- Shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with experienced, knowledgeable professionals
- Opportunity to participate in networking events and company meetings
- Flexible schedule - 30 hours per week
- June 1 start date
