What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Maintenance Trainee position at MPD, Inc?
MPD is seeking a candidate with some mechanical experience willing to learn under our Maintenance Supervisor. This is an ideal position for someone looking to increase their mechanical skills and learn in a manufacturing environment.
Job duties include:
- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, including: hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, gearboxes, rolls, and power transmissions.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspection, calibration, installation on equipment.
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and repair issues.
- Communicate with team members and adhere to quality, safety, and documentation guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
