Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Position Summary:
Keep in contact daily with all Secondary suppliers/operations. Act as receiving function as needed for all subcontract p/o’s. Maintain inventory accuracy as well as inventory reconciliation at secondary suppliers/operations. Assist in expediting product at secondary supplier/operations as needed. Supervision of drivers
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Attend daily leadership meeting to communicate secondary suppliers/operations deliveries.
· Receive all subcontract purchase order’s as needed/required.
· Ensure that all product back from suppliers are checked in and received within a reasonable timeframe
· Enter purchase orders from manual shippers for product that is drop shipped between suppliers.
· Email purchase orders to suppliers - this involves determining delivery dates for product needed from suppliers, updating purchase order information and emailing of purchase orders.
· Confirm packing slips for product that has been delivered to outside suppliers.
· Generate bill of lading’s when needed/required.
· Compile and communicate current and future shipment need’s to secondary suppliers/operations of product needed to meet our customer’s deliveries.
· Assist with expediting product as necessary to meet customer requirements – this may also involve expedite fees and updating purchase order to include the additional fees.
· Maintain inventory accuracy between open purchase order lines and work-in-process reports.
· Maintain inventory accuracy at secondary suppliers/operations.
· Maintain accurate purchase order records within business system.
· Reconcile all inventory discrepancies and communicate issues to suppliers.
· Research and correct any receiving errors as requested by accounts payable/accounting.
· Direct driver(s) regarding truck deliveries and pick up’s at suppliers.
· Work with shipping material handlers and/or shipping supervisor to coordinate what parts are priorities to prepare for shipment to suppliers.
· Determine truckloads to expeditiously keep product flow to and from secondary suppliers/operations – this includes and is not limited to arranging trucking externally to deliver or pick up at designated suppliers, pre-planning box truck trips when possible to maximize product movement and keep driver’s hours within allowable timeframe.
· Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, sanitary and safe manor.
· Perform additional duties and assignments in accordance with established policies and procedures and as instructed by supervisor(s).
· Computer literate, keyboarding skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Enthusiastic and excellent communication skills.

Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment a plus.

Education:
High School Diploma / GED required.
Environmental Conditions:
Primarily will be working on the manufacturing floor which will include high noise levels as well as powder metal dust. PPE will be provided when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
