Logistics Analyst - Industrial Water

This position is responsible for performing dispatch functions in a manner that will ensure prompt, efficient delivery of MPW services to its customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Schedule manpower and equipment for upcoming jobs.
- Constantly update and analyze the schedule to reflect daily changes and ensure the resources are being schedule in the most efficient way possible.
- Schedule equipment ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
- Notify drivers with their assignments.
- Prepare job information packets (directions, work orders, safety documents, etc.)
- Update status on equipment and loads.
- Answer incoming calls and direct to the appropriate party.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Required Skills
- This position handles emergency responses to customer needs and insuring all personnel, equipment and supplies are dispatched quickly.
- Solving material, personnel or equipment shortage or surpluses. Requires relocating equipment from other jobs.
- Has the authority to make unsupervised decisions consistent with the scope of responsibilities.
Required Experience
- High School Education with specialization in industrial or vocational trades.
- Advanced knowledge in dispatching in a service industry or from several years in a field position at MPW.
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
- 1-2 years of dispatch experience involving trucks preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
