What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Air Manager position at MPW Industrial Services?
JOB FUNCTION:
The Industrial Air Manager is responsible for overall business stability and the performance of team members to ensure attainment of total Industrial Air goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follow all safety rules and regulations and ensures all personnel abide by safety guidelines, including housekeeping.
- Position is responsible for P&L oversight, meeting budget, capital outlay, and strategic planning goals.
- Responsible for pricing, market share, and profitability goals for Industrial Air.
- The position is heavily involved with the sales and engineering teams to drive air compressor revenue.
- Conduct on-site customer visits to review new installations or inspect existing installations to provide recommendations for replacement of necessary parts.
- Work closely with vendors to build business relationships and assure proper pricing of materials is achieved. Monitor proposals and sales quotes for sales team, and customers to meet profitability goals.
- Manages general human resources operations within the Industrial Water (including, but not limited to: talent acquisition, retention, personnel workflow, training and development, succession planning, and employee relations).
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide feedback and support to MPW engineering so quality of service remains high for all MPW customers.
- Recognize and communicate new markets, products, and services that MPW could offer to our customers.
- Willing to travel (up to 50-90 nights annually).

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
- Field and Equipment knowledge in industrial air industry preferred.
- 2-5 years’ experience in industrial or environmental services preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including but not limited to Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
