Description
The Produce Inspector is responsible for performing the inspection of incoming produce.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
WORK HOURS: 6:00 am to 3:45 pm
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect product for quality and document the results of the inspections and testing.
- Send inspection report to the appropriate department.
- Classify produce by ripeness and condition, for proper storage.
- Perform product put-away and moves as required.
- Follow and uphold all company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Work involves lifting of materials and product weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a refrigerated environment, 34-55 degrees.
