Description
The Customer Service & Project Management Specialist is a key member of the AMP Aftermarket team and reports to the Director of Aftermarket. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about customer satisfaction, excited to learn new things, dedicated to solving problems, and diligent in the use of purposeful communication.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Respond to customer requests via phone and email, helping to answer questions, place orders, and provide needed information
Identify customer needs and proactively offer solutions that meet those needs while growing Aftermarket sales
Advocate for customers across the organization by building relationship with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and other teams
Help manage complex projects, interacting with customers and internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met, delivery times are achieved, and all stakeholders are informed of project status throughout

Relationship-building: Driving customer success depends upon the relationships you build with other team members, as well as the relationships you build with customers

Organization: Project management and customer service require the ability to prioritize and communicate across multiple projects and multiple teams at the same time
Required Education and Experience
2 years in a customer-facing, project management, or communication-heavy role
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, etc.)
Proficiency with MSOffice and the ability to learn new software
Hands-on mechanical experience or understanding of process equipment a plus
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Other
Attend educational workshops related to Lean, Epicor or other topics related to the role at the Company’s expense.
Must comply with corporate requirements for confidentiality and non-compete agreements.
